Our 2023 travel calendar is already full with three trips, so we're now looking at 2024 destinations to book. We learned from a travel agency owner/friend about a week trip visiting the Galapagos aboard the Celebrity Flora. This 100 passenger, 330 foot, ship was placed into service in mid-2019 and only serves the Galapagos.

From the US, we'll fly to Quito, Ecuador, for a two night stay. From Quito, we board a short flight to Baltra and board the Flora for a week. Each day, there are two scheduled outings as the ship moves to different islands and landing areas. The outings may involve hiking, snorkeling or zodiac excursions. Meals are inclusive during the trip and, while on board, beer and wine are available for no additional cost for lunch and dinner.
When the water portion of the trip is over, we'll fly from Baltra to Quito for two nights. We then return back to the US.
