A Walk Along the Arboretum

Today was a great day to take an afternoon walk with the dog along the local arboretum. The weather has cleared from the weekend rain and the display of fall colors is just starting to show. A few more colder nights will really help the leaves to turn color.

The arboretum, founded in 1936, covers about 100 acres of gardens, recreational areas and exhibits. You can see 22,000 plants and trees in the arboretum. There are paved walkways throughout the arboretum covering about 3.5 miles. Walking along the paths you are likely to see runners, bicyclists and walkers enjoying being out in a beautiful garden setting.

Here are a few images from our walk.
