Pedro Gonzales was our Azores tour guide and driver for San Miguel Island. Pedro provided a great narrative about the island as we embarked on a full day island tour. The tour included stops at Lago Del Fogo, Caldeira das Sete Cidades, Lagoa de Sanitago, an historic water tunner, a cold and hot water waterfall, a lunch stop at "The Green Zone" and a lakeside drive amid green farmland. Several of the stops were away from the tourism areas and probably not included as part of a typical cruise ship excursion.
